Sayonara Keningau

Was back from Keningau on Sunday. But this time we didn't take the Kimanis-papar road. Instead we decided to take the Tenom-Sipitang road. Just curious.

The journey was longer by one and a half hour but the sceneries are amazing. Virgin jungle, rubber trees without the leaves on them. It feels like Autumn in Sabah. The weather was great. But there were hardly any cars passing, maybe not even ten. So, when taking the road, make sure cars are in great condition. However, there were quite a number of lorries there transporting logs.

But, it is a tiring journey. Great for first-timer. But second time, better to use the Kimanis-Papar road. Saves time and fuel.
