Very tired oh...

At last. I've done it. My very boring chore of folding the clothes. Hmmm....it's something i should be proud of cos i've been postponing the task for two days now. you'll be surprised of the amount of clothes i have to fold. I forgot to take a shot. maybe in two days time i'll show u what i mean. So, now feel so relieved and glad that i've done it. It took me about 1 hour to fold everything. Huh...tiring and boring of course. I wonder how on earth did my mum cope with all those chores of washing and folding the clothes for a big family like us. (eleven of us plus the parents). I remember I used to do that quite often when I was a teenager. I hated it and still dont like it now. But that's part and parcel of life.

I remember my mum scolded us many times for not folding our own clothes back then. So lazy...in the end, being the eldest daughter, i ended up doing it everyday. And the washing. I'm so thankful that the washing machine is invented. But back then i wonder how my mum did it all. She even forced us to wash our own clothes by giving us some amount of money for the task. And again, being the lucky daughter, i ended up doing it to ease my mum's burden but not without complaints :P.. well, i'm not that hardworking mah...and now i'm still not that dilligent as i always hope i'll be. *wishful thinking*

So, now, a mother myself, i can emphatise with her and am so grateful for all that she has done for us. A great mum. So sorry that i was so lazy last time...Thank you mum.

  1. Yeah, we all hate chores. But once we get done with it, it gives us some pride doesn't it.

  2. hehe...that's exactly how i feel as soon as i've finished it. But today is another story. The cycle repeats itself...uhu...If we dont wear any clothes then there would be no clothes to wash and fold...haha...but that could be very disturbing...lol...:-)
